International Dialogue on Human Rights
Organized by Another Perspective Foundation in cooperation with Forum Młodych Dyplomatów and the UN Information Centre in Warsaw, the Human Rights Forum took place on December 10 at the Representation of the European Commission in Warsaw, marking International Human Rights Day.


The event opened with speeches by Dr. Katarzyna Smyk, Head of the European Commission Representation in Poland, and humanitarian activist and Member of Parliament Aleksandra Kwiatkowska, who highlighted the importance of dialogue, empathy, and civic engagement in addressing global challenges.
Discussions on Humanitarian Crises and Freedom of Speech
The Forum explored key human rights issues affecting the Middle East, North Africa, and conflict-affected regions through expert-led discussions focused on women’s rights, humanitarian aid operations, and journalist safety.


Speakers included academics, humanitarian leaders, and media professionals such as Dr. Magdalena Gawin, Monika Sobańska, Maciej Baginski, Juliusz Ziemak, Dr. Olimpia Dragouni, Dr. Witold Repetowicz, and Dr. Blanka Katarzyna Dżugaj, who shared frontline experiences and insights into contemporary human rights challenges.

The Human Rights Forum created a platform for meaningful exchange between experts, students, young professionals, and socially engaged participants interested in international affairs and humanitarian issues.
By encouraging open discussion and sharing diverse perspectives, the event aimed to strengthen awareness, inspire civic engagement, and empower young people to become active participants in creating positive social change.
