A Project Supported by Connect for Global Change
The conference took place on May 25, 2026, at the Stefan Batory Foundation in Warsaw, marking the culmination of the “Youth for Migration: Bridges of Mutual Understanding” project implemented by Another Perspective Foundation in cooperation with Grupa Zagranica.

Selected for implementation under the Connect for Global Change grant programme and co-funded by the European Union, the project focused on fostering dialogue around migration, education, and social inclusion while amplifying the voices and experiences of young people and migrant communities
Research, Education, and Migration Experiences
The event opened with a keynote lecture by Dr. Hab. Maciej Duszczyk, who addressed contemporary challenges related to migration and integration. Participants were also introduced to two reports developed by the project team, examining access to education in crisis-affected regions of the Middle East and the experiences of the Middle Eastern academic diaspora in Poland.

The presentations provided evidence-based insights into the barriers and opportunities faced by students and young people affected by conflict, displacement, and migration, creating a foundation for meaningful discussion among participants.
Building Understanding Through Dialogue and Creativity
The second part of the conference featured interactive workshops led by Andżelika Matusz and Strefa Wolno-Słowa, encouraging participants to explore migration through cooperation, storytelling, creativity, and lived experience.
By combining research, dialogue, and participatory activities, the conference created a space for reflection on the human dimension of migration. The event highlighted that behind every statistic and report are individual stories, aspirations, and experiences, strengthening empathy and mutual understanding among participants from diverse backgrounds.
