Terms and Conditions of the

"Youth for Youth - Psychological Support" Program

§1. General Provisions

  1. The "Youth for Youth - Psychological Support" Program (hereinafter referred to as the "Program") is an integral part of the "Youth for Youth" project.

  2. The Program is organized by the Another Perspective Foundation based in Wierzchowisko (hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation").

  3. The aim of the Program is to provide psychological support to Palestinian students residing in Poland.

  4. Participation in the Program is voluntary and free of charge.

  5. The Program does not replace professional medical care or psychological therapy.

 

§2. Program Participants

  1. A Program participant must be a student of Palestinian origin, who is at least 18 years old and legally residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

  2. The conditions for participation in the Program are: a) completing the application form, b) approval by the Foundation's Board, c) acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  3. The Foundation reserves the right to verify the data provided by the participant.

 

§3. Rules for Providing Support

  1. Psychological support is provided by qualified psychologists cooperating with the Foundation on a voluntary basis.

  2. Support sessions are primarily conducted online at agreed times. In exceptional cases, face-to-face meetings may be arranged.

  3. The Foundation does not guarantee the availability of a specific psychologist or the continuity of sessions with the same specialist.

  4. The frequency and duration of sessions are determined individually, depending on the participant's needs and the Foundation's capabilities.

  5. The participant commits to punctual attendance at scheduled sessions. In case of inability to attend, the participant must inform the psychologist about the absence or cancellation no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Failure to provide such notification may result in the session being forfeited without the possibility of rescheduling.

 

§4. Responsibility and Disclaimers

  1. The Foundation is not responsible for the consequences of using psychological support, including decisions made by the participant based on the advice received.

  2. The Program participant agrees to immediately inform the Foundation of any concerning symptoms or deterioration in mental health.

  3. In life-threatening or health-threatening situations, the participant should immediately contact the appropriate emergency services.

  4. The Foundation is not responsible for technical problems related to the participant's internet connection or equipment.

     

§5. Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection

  1. The Foundation ensures the confidentiality of information provided by Program participants, subject to situations required by law.

  2. The participant consents to the processing of their personal data for purposes related to the implementation of the Program, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

  3. The Foundation commits not to disclose participants' personal data to third parties, except in situations required by law.

 

§6. Termination of Program Participation

  1. The Foundation reserves the right to terminate a participant's involvement in the Program without providing a reason, particularly in cases of: a) violation of these terms and conditions, b) aggressive or inappropriate behavior towards psychologists or Foundation employees, c) lack of active participation in support sessions.

  2. The participant may withdraw from the Program at any time without any consequences by informing the Foundation via email.

 

§7. Final Provisions

  1. The Foundation reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be informed of any changes via email.

  2. In matters not covered by these terms and conditions, Polish law shall apply.

  3. Any disputes arising from participation in the Program will be resolved amicably, and in the absence of agreement, by the court having jurisdiction over the Foundation's registered office.

  4. These terms and conditions come into force on the day of their publication on the Foundation's website.
